Willy Wonka is holding a contest! Five lucky people who find golden tickets hidden inside Wonka bars win a tour of the candy factory and a lifetime supply of chocolate. Come along as we follow the winners into the magical and mysterious world of
"pure imagination".
Temptations, morality and character are lessons learned in this wild, hilarious, toe-tapping musical.

On June 20, 2009, the Little Theatre Family celebrated Marshall Dahlin’s seventy
years’ of service and leadership, with a testimonial reception. Marshall was in great
spirits and all of us expected that despite his retirement, his advice and encouragement
would be with us for years to come. Sadly, this was not to be. In less than three weeks,
the man who was the heart and soul of Lucille Ball Little Theatre was gone.
His son in law, Bob Schang, said it best: "I know that when Marshall got to heaven,
God took him by the hand and said ‘Over there is where I want you to build us a
theatre."’ He certainly would be the right man for the job!

The Little Theatre will be starting it's 73rd season of continuous live theatre this fall. This is a tribute to our core of volunteers on stage and back stage, who have given an almost professional job of producing many wonderful years of live theatre for the people of Jamestown and surrounding area.
But there is another group of people who have made it all possible.
YOU,
the season ticket holder, who provide most of the money necessary for this to happen. There are some who have been here every year since the beginning in 1936.
A big THANK YOU
and a standing ovation to each of you. You are a necessary part of our very existence. We hope you will be with us again this season.

If you answered yes, to any or all three of the above questions – we have the right place for you.

Lucille Ball Little Theatre of Jamestown is looking for backstage volunteers.

A backstage volunteer assists with:

Designing the set
Building the set
Tearing down (striking) the set
Finding props for the play
Stage managing
Making costumes
Helping with make-up
And so much more

We have lots of fun putting on the play – watching the stage grow from a blank, dark set – to a vibrant, living play
